Petrosains Discovery Centre KLCC Ticket Price: Online Booking & Deals

Petrosains is a hands-on science centre on Level 4 of Suria KLCC, right under the Petronas Twin Towers. Kids can explore dinosaurs, an oil platform, space science and an F1 simulator.

Malaysians pay much less than international visitors, so bring your MyKad and MyKid. Here are the 2026 prices, where to book and the deals worth knowing.

1. Bank Muamalat cardholders: 15% off

Bank Muamalat's terms say its cardholders get 15% off Petrosains admission tickets:

• Valid from 1 February to 31 December 2026
• Walk-in only, at the Petrosains ticketing counter
• Show your Bank Muamalat card when you pay
• Not valid with other offers

The same promo gives 10% off weekday Petronas Twin Towers Sky Xperience tickets.

2. 10% off on Traveloka

Traveloka lists both MyKad and international tickets at 10% off the standard weekday price.

3. Go on a weekday

Weekday tickets are RM4 cheaper than weekend tickets for Malaysian adults (Petrosains).

4. Kids under 3 go free

No ticket is needed. Just tell the staff at the door how many you're bringing (Petrosains).

How to book online

Petrosains gives these rules for online booking:

1. Book on the official e-ticket site at least 24 hours before your visit.
2. Choose your date and time slot. Tickets are limited and first come, first served.
3. Pay by card or e-wallet. Petrosains is cashless.
4. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your time slot.
5. Show your MyKad or MyKid at entry. If you bought the wrong category, you pay the difference.

You can stay until closing, whatever your entry time.

How to get there

Petrosains is on Level 4 of Suria KLCC. Take the LRT Kelana Jaya Line to KLCC station.

Tips for Malaysian travellers

• Bring MyKad and MyKid. You need them for Malaysian rates.
• Book a weekday. It's cheaper and less crowded. Klook reviewers say it gets crowded during school holidays.
• Eat before you go. Petrosains says food and drinks aren't allowed inside, except at Café Mesra. For halal meals, look for the JAKIM halal logo at Suria KLCC.
• Lockers are limited (Petrosains), so travel light.
• Children under 12 must come with an adult (Petrosains).
• Check closures. Petrosains closes on the 1st and 3rd Mondays and on Hari Raya.
• Make it a KLCC day. Pair it with Aquaria KLCC and the Petronas Twin Towers.
