Tips for Malaysian travellers

  • Bring your MyKad. You save RM85 per adult on a weekday compared with the standard price.
  • Book weekdays. MyKad tickets are RM3 cheaper than weekends.
  • Pick a late afternoon slot for daylight and city lights in one visit.
  • Bring a light layer. GoAsia says the indoor air-con can feel cold.
  • Shoot the towers from outside. The Malaysia Move points out that you can't photograph the towers from inside them. GoAsia suggests KLCC Park at night or the Jalan Ampang sidewalk in the early morning.
