Tonsai Bay, Koh Phi Phi: cheaper to visit than it looks
Koh Phi Phi looks pricey on Instagram, but a 3D2N trip from Malaysia can cost less than you'd expect. The total depends on three things: your flight, where you sleep and how many boat tours you take.
This guide breaks down what a 3D2N trip costs per person. It uses prices listed by booking sites and recent travel guides. Everything is shown in baht and ringgit so you can plan without guessing.
These totals assume you fly KL to Krabi. Room and private taxi costs are split between two people.

| Route | Lowest listed one-way fare |
|---|---|
| KL to Krabi | From RM129 (Traveloka) or RM199 (AirAsia) |
| KL to Phuket | From RM208 (Skyscanner Malaysia) or RM212 (AirAsia) |
